Lenovo Thinkpad laptops are known for their brand-name keyboard with an integrated track point; which can greatly facilitate computer control without the mouse. Now the desktop owners can also take advantage of this opportunity; the company has introduced a Thinkpad Trackpoint II wireless keyboard compatible with both portable and desktop Pcs.
The keyboard is connected to the computer via Bluetooth or a USB receiver. It is also possible to connect simultaneously with two different devices thanks to the support of Microsoft Swift Pair technology. 84-key accessory with a scissor mechanism and resource of up to 10 million presses is compatible with both Windows 7 / 10 and Android.
According to the manufacturer, the full charge of the Thinkpad Trackpoint II battery will provide up to 2 months of autonomous operation; and 15 minutes of charging through the USB-C port will be sufficient for a week. Text input for visually impaired users is also supported by special markup on the keys.
The dimensions of the novelty are 306 x 164 x 14 mm, weight – 490 grams. The accessory has already gone on sale in the United States for $99.99.
