Codingview To Do Job Interviews With Programmers
Today everything is remote, and job interviews don’t have to be different. What is clear is that it is not the same to interview a salesperson as to a programmer, each professional has a series of skills that must be tested during the interview, and more and more resources emerge that help with the topic years.

What is clear is that it is not the same to interview a salesperson as to a programmer, each professional has a series of skills that must be tested during the interview, and more and more resources emerge that help with the topic years.

Today we are presented with codingview, a website created to make it easy to remotely interview a programmer, as it offers a collaborative panel for us to see what he writes in real time.

It is a technical interview platform, and is free to use until early 2021.

The candidate has a code editor similar to VS Code shared with the interviewer. They have used one of the most popular code editors. We can thus access a real terminal connected to the Linux sandbox. All supported languages and compilers are already installed.

They want it not to be necessary to set up a shared code editor or compiler, leave the solution ready, and prevent Google Docs from being used, which is not intended for live encoding and candidates don’t like it either.

We can create an interview notebook, paste a question into the editor and send a link to the candidate. Without installing anything, the candidate gets access to a real terminal and a code editor. We’ll be able to monitor progress and finish the interview when the time runs out.

In the end, we will have access to the candidate’s code, in 15 of the most popular programming languages.

Although it’s free for now, when it stops being free, they’ll offer the first 30 interviews on their own, unless they change the business model over the next few months.

A good idea worth spreading.
