Telegram developers announced the release of a large-scale messenger update with the serial number 6.0. The new version of the app has a number of useful features; to help you sort a large number of chats and minimize the chance of missing important messages.
One of the main innovations was the ability to create up to 10 separate tabs for sorting channels by subject – for example, entertainment, work and family. The corresponding menu item appears in the application settings. In addition, it supports the aggregation of chats of a certain type, such as “channels” or “Unread”. This synchronizes the tab structure with all the devices on which the messenger client is installed.
Another change was the removal of the limit for the number of chats fixed at the top; which was previously limited to five conversations. It is worth noting that this function works only in tabs; on the main screen all channels “sew” will not be possible.
The Archive function helps to order a long list. You can hide any chat by swayp to the left. On Android, if you are already using archive folders; you will need to select a menu item after a long click on the conversation bar. When a new message arrives in a hidden channel, it returns to the public list.
For channels with more than 1000 subscribers; there is a feature to view detailed statistics about the traffic dynamics and effectiveness of publications.
WITH the update, the messenger also received new animated emoticons and the opportunity to throw a virtual cube to test luck or decide the fate of the Internet dispute.
The updated version of Telegram is already available in Google Play and App Store for all supported devices.
